Tasha is a catalyst for positive, well-organized change. She does not settle for the status quo. Instead, Tasha sees the opportunity for innovation in the processes that others have long taken for granted. Special Education, She respect what's already operating, but can't help but want to improve upon it. Her special combination (Standout strengths, Creator and Equalizer) provides innovation tempered with profound logic. She has incredible discernment. Should her efforts fail, she is unhesitating in accepting responsibility. Tasha does not wallow in self-pity but rather see these missed attempts as critical steps on the path to success.
Filled with Faith and Hope, Tasha brings you real-world Special Education and IEP strategies that work! Tasha is a Mother of 3, last child is autistic, a degree in Human Service, certified Coach and has over 15 years experience in Social Work Education. And loads of first hand experience from the parental side from her autistic son. She has facilitated hundreds of IEP meetings developing focused goals and accommodation's. Tasha became a Certified Master IEP Coach, to share knowledge, practical resources and REAL LIFE strategies to help parents who are raising children with autism to excellence.
Her role as a coach is to support BIPOC and African families with autistic children build positive family and school relationships. Tasha's proactive approach help saves you time, eliminate stress and wonder. She assists you with the entire IEP process, from the initial evaluation, to the IEP development, to placement decisions and everything in between. Tasha also offers consulting, leadership and advocacy tools to minimize conflicts. She can support you in communication and negotiating with the school to receive the desired outcomes you need for you child to reach excellence.
